Introduction

I have been in the educational field since the early 1970's, starting out in elementary teaching, then branching into Special Education, and in the 1980's expanding into a private practice of educational consulting. In the course of my career I have worked with all types of students in broad areas of academic learning. In addition, I have worked in advocacy,administering and interpreting  assessments for learning disabilities, home school facilitation, community speaking, conducting workshops, appearing as an expert witness, school and college placement specialist, and consultant for student concerns and issues. I have recently relocated to my original home area near Philadelphia, after attending graduate school and teaching in New York , then residing in the metropolitan area of DC for much of my career.
